Nur-Sultan Convention Bureau

"Nur-Sultan Convention Bureau" is the main organization for planning, development, and promotion of the tourism industry, operating in the structure of "CCID "AstanaInvest" LLP of the Akimat of the city of Nur-Sultan.

The main activities of the Convention Bureau are:

  1. Turning the capital into an event hub in Central Asia;
  2. Development of the city's tourism through attracting international business events;
  3. Improving the quality of services and skills of local industry professionals;
  4. Work on the provision of consulting and support services for the organizers of business (MICE) events on the principle of a "single window".

The Bureau unites all stakeholders of the MICE industry city in the "MICE NUR-SULTAN" partnership program, with the aim of coordinating forces to provide quality and efficient services to the organizers of the business events and exhibitions in the capital.

The Bureau also actively works with representatives of the corporate sector and industry associations to attract and hold international business events in the city.

Since 2016, the Nur-Sultan Convention Bureau has been a member of the International Congress and Convention Association - ICCA.

In 2017, the Nur-Sultan Convention Bureau was the main coordinator of the work of city structures during the preparation and holding of the International Specialized Exhibition "EXPO-2017".

Since 2018, the city of Nur-Sultan has joined the UNWTO Affiliate Members Programme, among 500 other companies worldwide.

The Convention Bureau has hosted events of such major associations and organizations as the UNWTO, the World Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, the International Project Management Association, the Asian Association of Public Administration, and many others.

Moreover, the Bureau has implemented and supported a number of infrastructures, investments, and innovative projects. Such as a bicycle - sharing system, "Hop on - Hop off" Red Bus tours, the "Recommended by Astana" partnership program, a navigation system for guests and residents of the city, a single tourist portal, and a mobile application "Visit Nur-Sultan", and a number of other important projects for the tourism and hospitality industry.
